Pivot Your Body When Chipping
In this video TG Elite Teaching Professional Adrian Fryer shares his tips for chipping by pivoting your body.
Key Things To Remember From This Video
Avoid A Frozen Body
Golfers are often lead to believe chips are purely just hands and arm shots. This results in the club being pushed through against a frozen body.
Develop The Pivot
The lower body may feel quiet going back but coming through the shot it’s essential it pivots and makes a mini turn through. This action transports the arms and club through in a non flicky robust action. The club is being pulled through in frame not pushed.
Body & Arms Together
Practise with the held in your tummy to feel body and club work together with the pivot. When your confidence grows try left armed swings placing your right hand on your right leg to feel the strong relationship between the lower body working in harmony with the lead arm.
