Build A Solid Foundation
If you find a really nasty lie in a bunker and you don’t opt to declare it unplayable or play out sideways it’s imperative you build your stance correctly

Open the club face for maximum loft and bounce. Form a weak right hand grip to add extra loft to the club face in the swing
Full Dress Rehearsal
Rehearse the shot and gauge the necessary speed you need to deliver enough force to pop the ball out. Several practice strokes are key to feel the hinge, angle of attack and stability to play the shot.
